This Project was Funded through the European Social Fund, Executive Fund Programme, Strabane District Council and Derry City Council.

The ACCORD project consisted of 18 members, which were made up from representatives from community/voluntary organisations, local government, regional government, training providers and further education providers. The aim of the project was to develop innovative methods of introducing marginalised section of society to training, education and the world of work.

The ACCORD Development Partnership evolved in direct response to those gaps in policy, which continue to prevent access to meaningful employment for those most marginalised.

The project had four Transnational partners who were involved in delivery of similar Equal Initiatives in different members states - Austria, Germany, Italy and Spain.
